Not rally sealed. Used stone soap because of the perceived problems.

the only way to cure this problem is to dry out the installation and eliminate the moisture source. Whatever you do...DO NOT seal it

Tony,
Just out of curiosity, was the floor sealed after the restoration?

Hey Tony
I think the moisture has to be removed from the equation-If the moisture can be removed using dehumidifiers and such you will be able to refinish it over. If the moisture is something that is present below the surface because of the environment it will be harder to correct. We run into this problem often enough in this area due to high groundwater levels ,springs, etc. 30 % isnt that bad but what is the source of the moisture-

We have a crème marfil floor that we refinished. It has a moisture / efflorescence issue. We went back and used Cristdaur crystallizer. The efflorescence reappeared after a couple of days. The moisture reading is about 30%. Any ideas on how to prevent the efflorescence from returning?
Thanks
