It's Carl, usually always Carl. LOL thought you could tell by the bad spelling. Attached is a picture. It's a few thousand square feet. I figured I'd have to talk to management and inform them of the problem. I wasn't sure if the consolidant or densifier would work.

Hey Pat-do you have any pics-does the floor contain very fine aggregate?Who knows how these folks maintain the floor or even how the pour was done. How many sq ft do you have here.I would talk to management to show them the surface and suggest a change order to grout the surface.I can be tedious if you haven't done it before but will make the floor look its best.

There were some pinholes after we first stripped but more where we sanded. When we sanded our first area and felt the floor, we felt it was gritty so we took a closer look and seen more holes in the sanded areas than the un-sanded.
Looks like it might be stones coming out and we might be exposing new pinholes. Hard to tell.

Subject: Re: TerrazzoYes -I agree that sounds bad but if it lasted for 10 years its probably repairable. Is it stones coming up or are you getting pinholes.Am guessing here but it sounds like the company that did the original pour did not use a grouting technique to fill the pinholes after grinding.Anyway that's my guess and the floor may need to be grouted flowing epoxy and marble dust then remove the excess.. (like traverfil for travertine)

Good morning Partners,I have a 10 year old epoxy terrazzo floor that we are refinishing and then taking over the maintenance on. It had several coats of sealer on it and looked rippled or as I call alligatored. Like someone over polished it and then coated it.Problem is that when I cut it with a 120 resin to get it flat and vacuumed it started pulling up small pieces of the stone. My question is will a densifiers or consolidant help on an EPOXY floor and help stop the problem of the little stones coming up?
Thank you
