Awesome-take your time on white marble and make sure you get a good first cut breaking the original finish. Also make sure the surface is dry before powder polishing or you will get blotchy results-

We do loads of white marble-not sure why you are having issues-try these-

You can use the AA Turbo. They come in 3”,4”,5” and 7”. There are others on the market but these are very cost effective.

Alpha Ceramica diamonds are specifically made for granite, not saying they won’t work on marble, just not the best bond for marble as they are too soft. I recommend an epoxy type diamond in which the bond is harder and should provide a better finish on most marble. Typically a 220g, 400g, and 800g should suffice followed by 5X.

Good luck,

Bob

Good morning Partners

I have a white marble counter top that needs polishing due to etching.

I have had problems polishing white marble in the past.

I am looking for a several different pads for having options with trying to polish the white marble.

I have alpha ceramic 3” and 5 inch pads the 3 polish and the 5 inch do not.

I don’t know why.  I am open to suggestions on what pads to buy and polishing compounds to use.

I have some quartz polishing pads that seem to polish a bit better.

The finish is a highly polished. I also have klindex pads blue, red, yellow and they have not helped in the past. I also tried 11,000 monkey pads and no luck.
