Agree with Fred. Test with the RSR 2000. This could even reduce the the rust somewhat.Once confirmed, honing first helps to open the stone by increasing the surface area. Then poultice with Iron Out or similar product. Refinish as required after.Removing rust can be difficult and not always at a 100% success rate.Manage the results with the client.
