I put a 1.5 hp two speed on my 13 inch. I use it for small areas of lippage removal. Put a good splash guard on, kick it up to 400 rpm and its cuts it like butter. Two or three passes over it and it flat most of the time. I think it originally came with a 1 hp 175 rpm. Handy for those situations.
