It is pretty much for polished porcelain that had become dull. It will remove scratches. On some surfaces that have a more matte finish it will take scratches out but not really Amp up the gloss. That being said, you really need to test it because I have had good results where I didn't think I would but also so-so results where I thought there would be a higher gloss at the end.
