Joe

I would try the following

1. scrape the area with a razor blade to remove any excess wax.

2. then I would try an alkaline stripper mixed strong if not full strength
to see if it will break down the wax.

What's the best product to use when removing a wax stain caused by a candle
on slate? I tried 2 poltices with methylene-cloridele didn't do much. My
next choice is Acetone. Any recomendations ? I need to purchase Dr Fred's
stain removal guide..... Thanks
