These are the pads I was referring too, but you may have to go with the straight pads I can't seem to find 30mm pads which is what I think you need Anthony Masecchia Master Stone Consultant Marble Maestro T. 514.777.7797 F. 514.904.1815 E. antonio@777-7797.com W. www.777-7797.com Active MC of BNI Westmount www.bniwestmount.com Marble.Maestro on facebook Please take note of my new email antonio@777-7797.com -----Original Message----- From: Lagana Tile [mailto:glagana@comcast.net] Sent: October-27-09 7:36 PM To: Restoration and Maintenance Subject: RE: [sccpartners] Bullnose edge Here is a picture of some of the different types of pads I use. For the bull nose on the stair tread I would probably use a combination my variable speed metabo , hand pads, and the 2" x 2" flexible pads ( the one in my hand ). These will conform to nearly any shape and work great for getting into tight corners where the rotary tools wont. -----Original Message----- From: Anthony Masecchia anthony@777-7797.com [mailto:anthony@777-7797.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 27, 2009 10:24 AM To: Restoration and Maintenance Subject: RE: [sccpartners] Bullnose edge The easiest is if you know how to do it my flex, or makita or what ever grinder model you use, point it by hand as they do it in the shops, 120, 220, 400 and finish with a wax &buffing wheel. That's only one example of diamond combination, tables and counters at home I often simply do the buffing wheel and wax. Also , those little 3m like diamond hand sponge pads come preshaped like a bullnose if you can find it. that's very simple to use Sent Antonio Masecchia On 2009-10-27, at 1:11 PM, Baird Standish <bairdstandish@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, > We have a project that, among other things, requires that we hone and > polish a bullnose edge.
