Just because something is dark does not mean it does not get dirty. Absolutely it needs to be sealed.

From my experience I can tell that cleaning of sealed slate is a lot easier than not sealed slate. Every spill will be also very visible on unsealed slate. I would strongly recommend. Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

I get request to clean and seal slate. My question does slate really needs to be sealed? The slate is always a dark color so it normally does not look dirty. I really don’t see the need for cleaning it the same as I would a dirty limestone floor. What are your thoughts?
