Tony,

Before you started grinding did you strip off the glue? If not there is
still glue residue in the terrazzo. Go back and strip it. If you did  strip
it the yellowing may be staining and you will need to poultice the floor. I
would try an aggressive strip.

My second question is why do you start with a 30 grit diamond??? Was the
damage that bad? I have done many terrazzo floors and never had to go to a
30 grit. Just wondering.

Working on a Terrazzo floor.  Carpet was glued down on it for about 30
years.  It has been ground with 30 grit - 400 grit.  When it dries the
yellow from the carpet adhesive is visible.  Any suggestions on how to
remove the yellowing?
