If the inserts are small use the center punch out from your nylon pads, along with a 3" backer. You are going to polish each insert and then clean up the areas around the insert. I would suggest taping around the insert so the polishing pad does not touch any of the surrounding areas. If the grout lighten, then color seal it. The customer needs to be told this is all done by hand and will take time. This will help the customer understand the cost associated with the job. John E. We cleaned the grout with our turbo back then but now there are only inserts that customer wants to polish, not entire floor so I am looking for fast and easy way to do that without spending too much time cleaning. Since it is sanded grout, it should be a perfect candidate. You would be color sealing the grout. John Freitag is the trainer on this now. He should be able to chime in tomorrow and offer more tips or insight. How big is the area? When you say that you cleaned it very well was this after polishing? You don't happen to have a picture of this floor do you? Joy, J.
