Toxic? This is his statement without a lab analysis? Sounds fishy to me. What does the remediator want to do, tear out the stone under containment to get rid of the toxic mold?
Get some RSR 2000 from StoneCare Central and confirm yourself if it is rust or not.

Subject: [sccpartners] Carrara Marble
What would cause orange stains on a Carrara Marble bathroom floor? I think it could be iron but a mold remediation contractor thinks it is a toxic microbial. The floors are 20 to 40 years old, if not older.
Thanks for your input.
