Schubert,

On the quartz surface if it's just a water Spot try the Heavy Duty Soap and
Film remover. If that does not work try a little 5X Powders the acid in the
powder will usually remove the water stain, suggest doing this by hand on
the spots. Are there any other stains that need to be removed? Do you have
pictures of the stains
