I used K&E chemicals coating remover based on a recommendation a few
months back on some tile. It wasn't as noxious as Meth chloride type
chemical and worked well on some bullet proof tile coating (but it
takes a while to work). Unfortunately it can't be picked up at a
store. Not sure whether it would etch the  limestone. Couldn't tell
from reading the MSDS sheet what ph it is.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for coating remover in a shower?  Or possible a recommendation for an acrylic coating for a shower. I have already spent too much time on that job!
