Micah,

Depending upon the etch, many times they can be polished out. If an etch
will not polish out then you will need to attack the etch usually with at
least a 220 grit diamond then bring the stone up the grit range needed to be
able to repolish the stone.

You can sometimes polish to etches out using StoneCare Central Etch Remover

I have a client with etching around the toilet from cleaner, has anyone had
luck polishing minor etching with powder or do u allways have to diamond
grind? If so what grits have worked? I'm just wondering if there is a
quicker more affective way than 220, 400 polish for this type of
repair/restoration

Thx

Micah
