Mike,

Many times when grout roll up in balls the grout is old and the Portland
cement actually goes bad and causes this problem.

Subject: [sccpartners] Polyblend grout

Doing a agglomerate grind and just patched with a Polyblend ns grout. As I
was scraping it back I could feel grit and it worried me. Called the
manufacturer who said it does not have sand, BUT it has a particle of round
shaped "coke" which is a by product of a mining process, the are tiny hollow
balls that roll instead of scratch (when being spread) he said it is the
same formula as the US Custom Polyblend. Worried about it scratching. Might
have to scrub it out. Anybody hear of this???
