We are currently using the hook half of a Velcro strip as the grip between our angle grinder (with 7" pad driver) and our honing, polishing and buffing pads.  Most of the time it works fairly well, but particularly when the surfaces of the pads or the Velcro get wet, the pads don't seem to stay in place well.  This is also the case at times with our floor machines - as we are using the same Velcro hook system.

Does anyone have any thoughts on a better system of attaching pads to our machines?
