I did an acid stain job and the owner said it is way too black. Finished with 2 coats of a lacquer. Any ideas. Currently I am looking at over spraying with a dye from Getnewlook after I scuff it up then 2 more coats to lock it in. They said this dye is designed to bond to coatings.
