Mike,

Why not start out with honing powders ? how much do you want to cut the
shine? If it's only a little try 800 powder, less shine  go to the 400
powder at the 400 powder you will have a honed finish. I see no reason to
use any pads on this .

I have a sample to prepare to provide a slip resistant finish on this. It is
a floor at a hospital, approx. 300 m2. I am thinking along the lines of an
800 monkey pad and some aluminum oxide honing powder. Any other ideas?
