Reading through the archives, it looks like you need to be careful when trying to restore cultured marble and probably should not use the stone refinishing tools we already have (flex pads, honing powders, monkey pads, etc)

We have never done one before, but we will likely have a job coming up that will require it.  I saw some suggestions about using car refinishing products and some suggested particular specialty products.  Keeping in mind that we haven't done this before and probably will have only occasional opportunities to do it in the future, what suggestions would you have?
