We use Aldon SBS Sealer for most of out Terra Cotta jobs that require matte color enhancement. They have two sacrificial coatings that go over the terra cotta- Tile cover, which is very light and doesn't gloss up much, or Lifeguard, which is glossier. In order to get the scratches out we have used brush with different grits depending upon how much material needs to be removed to eliminate scratches. I've certainly seen many topical coatings being open to that possibility though. > > We have had some good success using Aldon Chemical products and finishing with S-B-S solvent based penetrating sealer which has little gloss to it. What you use may depend on any existing coatings or sealers. Just another option you may want to explore. > > Stuart Young > Santa Fe Floor Care > > > Visit list archives, subscribe, unsubscribe or change your subscription > preferences: > http://stoneandtilepros.simplelists.com/sccpartners > > Start a new conversation (thread): > sccpartners@stoneandtilepros.simplelists.com >
