The use of mineral spirits will attack the oil stain, this is much safer than the white gas. If you are doing a wall mix you poultice using Fuller Clay. This can be found by a google search. The fullers clay will hold the poultice in place. The mineral spirits will penetrate the surface and break down the oil this allow the poultice to worl.
