Unfortunately I think the whole process got mixed up and now we need to fix it. Do you have an acid cleaner you recommend? FYI sealer residue can etch as well. > > On Wed, May 10, 2023 at 3:55 PM Beth Branstetter <beth@atlanticstoneandtilecare.com> wrote: >> >> Will acid cleaner hurt the Basalt? Try some acid cleaner in a small area to see if it will remove the contaminants. If not, you could hone and reseal as you mentioned. >> > >> > Bob Murrell >> > Director of Operations >> > SCC/M3 Technologies Inc. >> > Cell-865-607-0957 >> > Office-800-342-4533 >> > bmurrell@m3techinc.com >> > www.m3techinc.com >> > >> > >> > >> > -----Original Message----- >> > From: sccpartners@stoneandtilepros.simplelists.com <sccpartners@stoneandtilepros.simplelists.com> On Behalf Of Beth Branstetter >> > Sent: Wednesday, May 10, 2023 3:34 PM >> > To: sccpartners@stoneandtilepros.simplelists.com >> > Subject: Re: Basalt Tile >> > >> > It was Cleaned and Color Enhanced over a year ago. I don't believe there was any efflorescence. This time the tech used a regular sealer not an enhancing sealer and it is very possible he sealed it too soon. >> > Is there a way to fix it?
