Yes I have seen it used and depending upon the installer will have an
impact on the final product. This product look pretty good but as with any
of these products the stone takes on an artificial look. Over time on bar
tops and countertops ,tabletops if you have customers that start to pick at
the edges it will start to fail and then over time will need to be replaced.
The life depends on the application , commercial or residential.
