Chris,

There is a product I am using on a limestone floor that was coated with a
epoxy coating, the product is made by a local janitorial supply company call
Lawton Bros. janitorial located in Orlando, FL
The remover is call Extreme Coating and Sealer Remover. This product has
worked extremely well. You may want to try it. The cost is around $45 per
gallon. You use it full strength no dilution.

Subject: Removing mastic from Old porcelain tile floor

Hi partners,

I'm working on a porcelain tile floor restoration. Had to remove a heavy
layer of mastic from this hexagon porcelain tile floor at Harvard
University. They have covered this floor with carpet for over 50 years.
I managed to get 95% of it off but still have residual here and there.
I have tried several different mastic remover's and they all work OK but
looking for something to remove all of it without damaging the tile.
The last resort is hands and knees and razor blades. Here are some pictures.

Thanks , Chris
