Ryan Tonnemacher: I looked up the product at the time but don’t recall which product, I remember it was solvent based. We deal mostly with stain proof.

Actually on the first phone consultation the owner said that if I tried in the least to push sealing the outside stone that our company would be eliminated from the bidding. Most our calls for outside stone are sounding like this ''stone under the over hang don’t need sealing its just the stone exposed to the sun’'. I tell them if they are considering sealing the exposed stone the sun will just bake the sealer back out of the stone unless they want to put us on a two month service plan, I believe Dr. Fred in his class doesn't recommend sealing stone outside either. Hope that answers your question Ryan.

They still had a small container of it the person left that he showed me, I am an installer of dry treat as well. This is in Florida. I don’t know of a product that will hold up in the Florida sun, its brutal. Not that you are in Florida. It maybe different where your located.
