Hi partners,

New construction condo complex in Boston with this "Earth Gray" marble polished floors.
Around 100 floors total that will need post construction restoration. They were not protected after install and they got trashed.
I've done three or four so far and it's a nightmare to do these. They used LatiCrete Perma color silver shadow grout and I'm not sure if this lightly sanded grout is causing scratches during the restoration process.
This material scratches so easily and the scratches are white and very noticeable.
I'm starting at 120 and going up to 800 and then using a polishing compound with hog hair pad.
I check after each step to make sure everything's going well and when I finish 800 I notice circular and linear scratches. Which leads me to think some are coming from the machine and some are coming from the vacuum. I am ending up doing this floor two or three times chasing scratches.
Anybody have any experience with this material?

Thank you,
Chris Santospago
