Absolute black honed is very easy to restore. Use 250 grit honing powder on a 5 inch or 7 inch driver with hog hair pad. After you can use enhancer to bring it darker if they prefer. Many of my clients prefer the natural dark grey look. Then they don't have to worry about the ring marks and water spots that enhancer creates.
Only drawback to not enhancing it is every time it gets wet it will darken. Goes back to natural color when it tries though.
