We use Murphy’s oil soap for wood floors from concentrate to clean all marble travertine limestone and onyx, interior and Exterior after the Polish or just for cleaning before sealing.
It’s dirt cheap and works fantastic! 1 gallon concentrate from Home Depot cost about $13 and makes 21 gallons of stone cleaner. We mix 20 parts water to one part oil soap.
We use a high alkaline Cleaner on stones like slate, flagstone and pavers when we need something stronger, because it won’t damage the stone. Because slate and flagstone are a non-calcite stone.
The high alkaline cleaner we use is actually a water-based stripper that I buying in a 55 gallon drum. We dilute it down for a strong alkaline cleaner or use it full strength when we have to strip thin acrylic coating’s.
Those are basically the two main cleaners we use for all natural stone tile and grout.
