Patio paver restoration Tony Deluna 23 Aug 2018 17:13 EDT
Hey pros, I just recently restored 1500 ft.² of backyard patio pavers. We were redoing a job a previous contractor screwed up. We chemically stripped everything with methyl chloride. The next day we returned and put down “Alliance Gator Polymeric sand” in all the joints. I followed all the proper steps everything came out great and it all hardened up properly. The customer called me and said when the sand gets wet it gets soft and gooey. She’s concerned about washing away when the rainy season comes. It seems to me like product failure I’ve never had this problem before in the past. A rep from Alliance Gator polymeric sand supposed to come out look at it but I was reading the website and it says they are only responsible for cost of materials. Has anyone had this problem, is there a way to make the Grout Harden? Thanks Tony DeLuna 925-625-9625 www.PatriotStoneRestoration.com
