I have a stain removal problem.
This customer spilled a little olive oil on the countertop in the circle. About the size of a half-dollar. Then it traveled up this crack line following the arrow.
Before I got there the installer came back and Diamond honed it and did something else and made a white circle around the dark spot.
Then I came along and put hydrogen peroxide and baking soda over it then covered it with plastic assuming it would lift the dark oil spot out.
The yellow rectangle represent the outline of the plastic.
The wha-la! I made it worse...
I did the poultice application on Wednesday and today Friday I went to check on it. It was still slightly moist so I took a blow dryer hoping that the moisture would evaporate out and the color would come back.
But that didn’t happen.
I just covered it with dry baking soda and put plastic over it and told the customer it’s not ready yet😝
Any ideas gentlemen?
