I would be careful with using stripper with your abrasives, The stripper will sometimes eat away at the glue that holds the Velcro to the diamond pad and you will ruin a good set of diamonds

I would plate grind or 70 metal diamond with stripper. On a terrazzo floor that is that old you need to start with a heavy grit anyway since a terrazzo floor is very wavy and will have low spots.  I would be at 6 to 8 dollars a sq. ft depending basecove and possible repairs.  This is based on you bringing it to a high gloss natural polish.

I agree with Randy-In many cases we will start terrazzo jobs with 70 metals right to the wall. After that first cut we will strip before progressing forward.
If you grind first you will make stripping less tedious for sure.
I agree with Brian- In the beginning it can be confusing to price stripping. How many days will it take you to strip the floor?
