Depends on which Iron Out product you get. There is the powder and there is the paste.
You can use either and mix with distilled water and/or Poultice Powder.
Of course it will etch calcium based materials so be prepared to refinish. In fact, you may as well hone first before applying the poultice to open up the surface.
