First and most important test the coating on the surface to see what it
going to take to remove the finish. Depending who coated these floors there
could be a urethane or acyclic finish on the tiles.
If there is an acrylic coating an alkaline based stripper will remove the
finish, if it a coating then you will need to secure a stripper to remove
the urethane. Caution there could be both type of coating on this floor.
Test several areas to see what is needed to remove the coating. It will
probably take several stripping to remove all the coating. Plan plenty of
time to remove the finish.

Subject: Terra Cotta floor restoration
I have a client with a terra-cotta floor in a 4 season sunroom that was
installed about 25 years ago. It looks as though it was waxed at the time
and definitely needs to be stripped and redone.
It would be my first time working with terra-cotta so i'm looking for advice
here.
Thanks
