I always use a low grit Malish brush. Usually we find topical polymeric or acrylic sealers and they come off pretty easily with floor finish Stripper. But if it's a urethane coating you will need to use something with methlyne chloride. I have heard that soy strippers work. Also Aldon makes Premium Stripper, which they say is more user friendly than stuff like Axe it. Still pretty potent stuff.
