I agree Baird. I see truck mounts as for someone is a carpet cleaner who also does stone. I have never had the need for that much power and hot water. There are better ways. I never want to even have the appearance of a “carpet guy”  I am a stone guy only (well maybe a bit of tile too) Sick of competing against these guys, who say “20 years experience” on their van, but 18 years of that is carpet, flood restoration work, pest control, and 2 years doing stone with 3 monkey pads and an SX12.  My opinion, ditch the truck mount and use a portable, and save a ton on fuel costs and van interior space.
